Ancient Egypt Lives Forever
23 January, 2015 - 17 May, 2015
FreeAn exhibition about the daily lives of the Egyptians
A peek into the daily lives of the Egyptians who lived and died during the reigns of the Pharaohs. Homes, hobbies, work, writing and other elements of the daily lives of these people will all feature, alongside the paraphernalia of the Egyptian world of the dead – their religion, funerary practices, preparations for the afterlife and of course, mummies.
This exhibition features artifacts from the St Albans Museum’s collection plus items on loan from other museums around the country.
To support the exhibition there are a series of talks (information here) and a range of activities for children (more information here).
